Youngster poses threat to medical facility, alert issued by law enforcement regarding a 13-year-old
In a shocking turn of events, a 13-year-old girl, who had been under authorities' scrutiny as an Islamist threat for months, launched a life-threatening attack on a caregiver in a locked psychiatric facility.
The incident occurred just days ago, with the girl allegedly stabbing the caregiver in the back, leaving them in critical condition. However, recent police reports indicate that the victim's condition has since improved.
The girl had been living in an apartment where she was pedagogically cared for and was under 24/7 police surveillance. Despite the warning from the police about the potential for such an incident, the clinic maintained its course of action.
The attack has sent shockwaves through the facility, with the primary focus currently on supporting the injured employee and continuing to process the incident with the clinic team and other patients.
The Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe has remained silent on the incident, offering no comment. The police, however, have set up a murder commission to investigate the case.
