The 38-year-old man, identified as Enamullah O., punched and kicked the younger man. Enamullah O. has a history of violence and has been treated in a psychiatric clinic. He is known for being involved in multiple violent incidents, including a knife attack in Aschaffenburg in 2025. Despite repeated inpatient psychiatric treatment, legal and systemic challenges have prevented his permanent psychiatric detention. After the attack, the 38-year-old man set off a firework in the public toilet. He made incoherent statements to the police but did not resist when they arrived at the scene and took him into custody. The 31-year-old man sustained minor injuries during the attack. After a medical examination, the 38-year-old was committed to a psychiatric hospital. Several criminal proceedings were initiated against him. The police are investigating the incident further, and the public is urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities. This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of mental health care and the challenges faced in ensuring the safety of the community.
