Unveiling Ceremony Held for the Crisis Center at Siloah St Trudpert Medical Facility

Since April 2, 2025, the Emergency Center at Siloah St. Trudpert Clinic in Pforzheim has been operational, serving as the initial point of contact for mobile emergency patients. The center, staffed with trained medical professionals, conducts an initial assessment of patients' conditions and determines the appropriate department and medical team for further care.

Following its initial days of operation, the Emergency Center was officially inaugurated, with Dr. Cornelius Ehmann, Chief Physician of the Clinic for Acute and Emergency Medicine, and PD Dr. Peter Engeser, First Chairman of the KV Emergency Practice, expressing their gratitude to those involved in setting up the center.

In the first 14 days of operation, the Emergency Center treated a total of 2700 emergency patients. The feedback thus far has been positive, with Dr. Ehmann reporting that patients feel guided and no longer need to decide between the emergency practice and the central emergency room.

PD Dr. Engeser added that high challenges in emergency care make it difficult for those responsible for emergency care to change many framework conditions. However, he emphasized the continued collaboration between Siloah St. Trudpert Clinic and the KV Emergency Practice with the Emergency Center, seeing it as an important step forward in facilitating patient flow. Both partners are confident that this will ensure optimal care as patient numbers increase and keep waiting times reasonable for those affected.

Although no specific details about the first operation or patient feedback are detailed in the current sources, the presence of an emergency facility within the clinic is expected to improve access to timely medical care for acute cases, reduce reliance on hospitals further away, and contribute to better health outcomes for critical cases.

The Siloah St. Trudpert Clinic in Pforzheim is known for providing a wide range of medical services to the local population in Pforzheim and the Enzkreis region, with a commitment to comprehensive medical care, including emergency services.
