Unusual Developments: Exploration of Unconventional Subject Matters

The Schwandorf Town Library is set to host a series of engaging events in September and October, organised by the Friends of the Schwandorf Town Library association.

On Saturday, September 20th, the library will play host to two exciting events. At 2 PM, a book presentation will take place, showcasing the latest release 'The History of Schwandorf's Town Library' by author Hans-Joachim Scholz. Admission to this event is free, and no registration is required. The book will be available for purchase at the event.

At 6 PM on the same day, the HTV Club will be hosting a Club Evening and Youth Rehearsal at the Wanderheim. More details about this event are yet to be disclosed.

A week later, on Thursday, October 2nd, the VHS is offering two intriguing courses. At 5 PM, a Back Fitness - Back Strengthening course will be held at the library, with a fee of 59 Euro, reduced to 42 Euro. For those interested in cooking, the VHS is also offering a Cooking for Widowers course at 6 PM. Each session costs between 10 to 15 Euro, and registrations can be made via phone at (09431) 45510.
