Surgeon openly admits to having his 12-year-old daughter touch experimental procedures during operations

In a shocking turn of events, a Graz neurosurgeon and his 12-year-old daughter are facing charges for assault after an incident during an emergency operation on a Styrian farmer. The details of the case, which are currently confidential due to privacy rights, were reported by Kleine Zeitung and Kronen Zeitung on Tuesday.

The incident occurred on January 20, 2024, during an operation at LKH Graz. According to KAGes, the operation went smoothly, but the details of the case suggest otherwise. It is alleged that the daughter of the neurosurgeon, under her mother's instructions, drilled a hole in the 33-year-old farmer's head, causing severe injuries.

The Graz Public Prosecutor's Office has made the indictment against the surgeons, but it has not yet been received by the parties involved. The specifics of the case, including the nature of the damages for which KAGes is being investigated, remain undisclosed.

In a separate development, the surgeon involved in the operation was dismissed by the Styrian Hospital Association (KAGes). The surgeon has since appealed against her dismissal through the civil courts. It is reported that she later reached an out-of-court settlement with KAGes.

Meanwhile, the investigations against the other five members of the operating team were reportedly discontinued. The Graz Public Prosecutor's Office is yet to comment on the specifics of the case, and the city authorities are not confirming the indictment due to privacy rights.

Elsewhere in Graz, measures are being taken to slow down the spread of Tiger mosquitoes. The city authorities have announced that they are taking steps to control the mosquito population in an effort to prevent the spread of diseases they carry.

In a separate school incident, a shooting occurred, leading to the temporary closure of the school. The school operation resumed at an alternative location, but this incident is separate from the one involving the surgeon. The details of the school shooting incident are not provided in the text.
