Unveiling the "Batyrylarqa Tagzym" Digital Haven

The Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan has launched an exceptional online platform, the "Batyrylarqa Tagzym" portal, brimming with info on 678,331 war veterans. Among these heroes are 365 Soviet Union legends, 4 double heroes, 19 Order of Glory holders, and an abundance of soldiers known for their bravery and resilience.

Every day, this portal, a beacon for history enthusiasts, receives over 100 requests, primarily from Astana, Almaty, Akmola, East Kazakhstan, Turkestan, and Atyrau regions, seeking information about frontline warriors.

An exceptional feature of this portal empowers users to independently submit data about their family members who fought in the war. All new information undergoes stringent archival verification before publication to maintain accuracy and credibility.

Interestingly, the portal has caught the attention of various neighboring countries, with approximately 80 requests originating from Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Ukraine.

During a recent presentation, the portal showcased digital materials, as well as over 150 unique documents and war letters from the National Archive's funds. Highlights included personal documents and letters from veterans like Kari Abitov, Tangirbergen Kalihanov, Hamid Yergaliev, Malik Gabdullin, and Ermekkali Serikbayev.

This momentous event drew a diverse audience, including descendants of frontline soldiers, state and public figures, members of the scientific and creative community, students, and schoolchildren, who were all eager to delve deeper into the rich tapestry of war histories.

Going Beyond Information

A portal like "Batyrylarqa Tagzym" plays a crucial role in nurturing historical, cultural, educational, and community engagement. Its primary purpose is to preserve and share historical knowledge, facilitate cultural exchange, and serve as an educational platform.
