The Mexican Government has announced the opening of registration for the "Mujeres Bienestar" program, a financial aid initiative aimed at women aged 60 to 64 who reside in Mexico. This program provides a bimonthly deposit of 3,000 pesos to eligible beneficiaries.

To register for the "Mujeres Bienestar" program, applicants are required to present several documents. These include a valid official identification, such as an INE, passport, professional ID, INAPAM card, or identity card. A CURP (Clave Única de Registro de Población) with a recent printout, ideally the biometric version, is also necessary. A legible birth certificate and a proof of address, no older than three months, are also required.

The registration process must be completed in person at an official module of the Secretaría del Bienestar. However, for those who are unable to attend due to health or mobility issues, a home visit can be requested by calling the welfare line 800 639 4264.

The biometric CURP is becoming increasingly required, so it's essential to ensure this updated document is obtained to avoid exclusion from the program.

Registration and distribution for the "Mujeres Bienestar" program are based on the first letter of the first surname of each applicant. Women whose surname starts with the letters D, E, F, G, and H can register on August 5th. Every Tuesday of August, from 10:00 to 16:00 hours, these women can go to a Bienestar Module to start their registration.

All documents provided should be original and copied. A readable birth certificate and a proof of residence, no more than six months old, are necessary. Registrants should also provide a contact phone number.

As of now, over one million women are beneficiaries of the "Mujeres Bienestar" program, and it is expected that 3.3 million more women will join with the new registration opportunity. The Mexican Government is providing this program as a form of recognition for a lifetime of work.
