The outdated building, proudly standing in front of the new kid on the block, is getting a swanky makeover! This renovation project aims to inject a blast of modernity into the space that currently accommodates the Serra Mar Family Health Unit, the UCSP - Loulé Personalized Health Care Unit, the Citizen's Office, and a plethora of other essential services like early intervention units, nutrition/psychology consultations, occupational therapy, speech therapy, radiology, dentistry, oral health unit and the CDP/CRC - Pulmonology Diagnostic Center, Public Health.
Now, roll up your sleeves and join us as we dive into the fancy nitty-gritty of the transformation! The planned facelift includes mouthwatering landscaping tweaks to make the space more efficient and enjoyable for everyone. We're also revamping the interiors, giving our floors and coverings a well-deserved facelift to create a more stylish and functional environment.
But wait, there's more! The renovation project includes installing essential equipment like water and sewage systems, basic electrical equipment, a medical gas system, and plenty more to ensure our healthcare warriors have the tools they need. In addition, a cosy oral health room is in the pipeline, and we're planning to construct a Low Complexity Integrated Diagnostic Center with top-notch radiology and clinical analysis facilities.
This project is nothing short of a million-euro baby, plus VAT, with a deadline of one scrumptious year. With the renovation, we're aiming to enhance the healthcare experience for locals and beyond.
And guess what? The day after our grand unveiling of the country's first University Health Center was a day of unbridled exhilaration. Now, we're taking another important step toward reinforcing the robust public health service sector (SUS).
