Refurbished health camp in Tagil to welcome 850 kids from the Uralvagon factory
Nizhny Tagil to Host Summer Camp for Uralvagonzavod Employees' Children
In a summer 2025 initiative, children of employees at Uralvagonzavod can enjoy a stay at the "Pine Mountains" sanatorium-prophylactic base, with the city administration confirming plans to accommodate over 850 children aged 7 to 12 across six shifts.
The festivities commenced with the first shift, seeing 150 children move into refurbished buildings. The joyous occasion was marked by group photographs, interactive workshops, and competitions, which children and parents participated in together.
The upcoming shifts will not only provide an introduction to Uralvagonvazor, but also a variety of activities, flash mobs, sports events, contests, workshops, parties, and concerts, themed around celebrating Russia's achievement, growth, and talent. For the first time, a "Russia - The Land of Eagles!" shift is scheduled as part of the "Union of Russian Eagles" program within the Russian children and youth movement "First Movement".
The educational duties will be handled by dedicated educators from local schools and the Sverdlovsk region, as well as the Dzerzhinsky Palace of Creativity. Counselors will be drawn from the Nizhny Tagil State Social-Pedagogical Institute and Nizhny Tagil Pedagogical College No. 2. The educators in 2025 will work in compliance with the federal upbringing program, unified for all Russian camps since April 1.
Previously, it was reported that in 2025, Sverdlovsk camps would accommodate 454,000 children.
