Recommendation issued for drafting a regulatory framework to safeguard labors from ionizing radiation hazards.
In the city of Wiesbaden, several bus lines have been rerouted due to a water main break on Gustav-Stresemann-Ring and ongoing construction works. The affected lines include 3, 6, 22, 27, 28, 33, 37, 45, and 49. This detour is in effect from August 8 to August 17, 2025, with a revised rerouting plan starting from August 18, 2025.
From August 8 to 17, these lines are being rerouted with alternate routes provided by ESWE Verkehr, the local transit authority. The detours typically involve bypassing Gustav-Stresemann-Ring by using adjacent parallel streets to maintain connectivity.
Specifically, Lines 22 and 27 (Direction: Oberjosbach / HSK / August-Bebel-Straße) start at the "Brunhildenstraße" stop and continue via Siegfriedring and Hasengartenstraße to the replacement stop on Weidenbornstraße. They then travel on Weidenbornstraße and Mainzer Straße to the "Welfenstraße" stop before returning to their regular route.
Line 27 (Destination: Leisure Pool) reroutes from "Main Station A" via Salzbachstraße, Gartenfeldstraße, Mainzer Straße, Weidenbornstraße, and Hasengartenstraße back to the regular route.
Lines 3 and 33 will run parallel with Line 27 (Leisure Pool) to Hasengartenstraße, then return to the regular route via Hasengartenstraße.
Lines 16, 28, 37, and 45 (Direction: South Cemetery, Mainz, Nordenstadt, Raiffeisenplatz) reroute from "Main Station A" via Salzbachstraße, Gartenfeldstraße, Mainzer Straße, Welfenstraße, Weidenbornstraße, Brunhildenstraße, and Gustav-Stresemann-Ring to their regular route.
Line 22 (Destination: Vocational School Center) will end at the "Brunhildenstraße" stop; no further service to the regular destination "Vocational School Center".
For lines 3, 6, 33, and 49, the rerouting has been implemented effective immediately. Line 22 and 27 have also been rerouted, but their service resumes from August 18, 2025, as part of the revised rerouting plan.
Detailed alternate route maps and real-time updates can be found on ESWE Verkehr's website. The ESWE-Verkehr service telephone is reachable from Monday to Friday between 7:00 and 18:00, and on Saturdays from 8:00 to 15:00 under the number (0611) 45022450.
It's important to note that there is also a related closure of Rheingaustraße affecting lines 9, 14, N3, but lines 3, 6, 22, 27, 28, 33, 37, 45, and 49 are not affected by this in terms of rerouting.
Citizens can contact the responsible department or office with any questions. The current rerouting plan is related to the water main break on Gustav-Stresemann-Ring, causing detours that affect these lines. This detour is in place from August 8 to August 17, 2025. Additionally, a new and improved rerouting on Gustav-Stresemann-Ring will begin from Monday, August 18, 2025 for these lines and others.
