Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson is grappling with blood clot issues.

The Los Angeles Rams' left tackle, Alaric Jackson, is dealing with a recurring blood clot issue, as reported earlier this week. Despite this setback, Jackson is still anticipated to suit up for the upcoming season.

The Rams have taken proactive measures, securing the services of veteran offensive tackle D.J. Humphries. Humphries, 31, finished the 2023 season with the Arizona Cardinals, starting 15 games before getting sidelined due to a torn ACL. He later joined the Kansas City Chiefs in November 2023, making two starts. However, Humphries has an impressive track record, having started every single game he's played in his career, which dates back to 2015. He even made it to the Pro Bowl in 2021.

Jackson, 26, missed several games in 2022 due to these blood clots, but he managed to start 29 out of the Rams' 34 games between 2023 and 2024. This acquisition of Humphries indicates that the Rams are prepared for any potential complications with Jackson's health.
