Over 5,400 women sign up for the International Women's Forum in Ekaterinburg
Thousands Register for III International Women's Forum
Approximately 5,400 individuals have signed up to participate in the III International Women's Forum "Consensus. Unity. Development," slated to take place from May 30 to June 1, 2025, at the "Yekaterinburg EXPO" congress center.
The forum, which will attract partners from over 20 countries, aims to facilitate the exchange of experiences and best social practices in various aspects of life. About 40 state and public figures, entrepreneurs, and experts from foreign countries are expected to attend.
"Hosting such large-scale forums encourages international and interregional cooperation, fostering investment and business activity in Sverdlovsk Oblast," said Lyudmila Berg, the Deputy Minister of International and External Economic Relations of Sverdlovsk Oblast.
Several sections dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory will be highlighted during the forum. These include preserving historical memory, an international scientific conference "The Heroism of Women during the Great Patriotic War," and a photo exhibition "Woman and War."
The event focuses on uniting women's efforts in solving social tasks and supporting war participants and their families. The photo exhibition and the plenary session 'Women’s Power of Creation. The Path to Victory and Peace,' are timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
The forum's program encompasses over 20 thematic sections, addressing issues such as demographic development, interaction with business communities, and initiatives to improve the quality of life, among others. Participation requires registration on the official forum website, woman-forum.ru.
Experts on longevity and demographic innovations are reportedly set to speak at the International Women's Forum.
In recent forums, themes like consensus, unity, and development have gained prominence. These ideals signify building agreement across diverse stakeholders, promoting social cohesion, and addressing economic security, job creation, innovation, women’s leadership, and environmental sustainability.
