In the past, there have been instances of people being verbally aggressive, and the police had to be called. Bathers were not aware of the visitor limit until the end of June, leading to long waits and unsightly scenes. On hot weekends, up to 100 bathers waited in the sun for entry.
Mayor Kopp also acknowledged reports of teenagers climbing over the fence to gain entry. He stressed the importance of following the rules and regulations for the safety of all visitors.
The municipality is making intensive efforts to reopen the lake as soon as possible. The fate of the pool's reopening will depend on the results of the water sample taken on Monday. For now, it is quiet at and in the lake.
