Meanwhile, Literature enthusiasts will have to wait until October 9 for the announcement of the laureate(s) in their field. The first watch laureates of 2025 were recognised 'For discoveries concerning peripheral immune tolerance'. Their groundbreaking work has opened up new avenues for cancer treatment by identifying regulatory T-cells. These studies also aid in preventing serious complications following stem cell transplants, helping the immune system avoid causing damage to the body.
