Neuss District Updates Corona Test Centre Policy

The Neuss district's Corona test centre on Hammerlandstraße has made a change to its testing policy. As of now, only PCR tests will be conducted for individuals who do not display symptoms. This shift aims to optimize testing resources, focusing PCR testing on asymptomatic cases which require more precise detection.

For those who are symptomatic, testing options have been expanded. Rapid antigen tests are now available at other centres or healthcare providers, providing quicker results for those showing symptoms. This approach allows for faster detection and isolation if positive, without overloading the PCR test centre.

If you need detailed locations or recommendations for symptomatic testing nearby, it's advisable to check the local health authority’s updates or contact local clinics.

In other news, the Neuss district's current coronavirus situation is concerning.
