Medical professionals on the move in Aldan district, Yakutia, providing healthcare services via mobile clinics

The Aldan Central District Hospital is set to conduct around 90 surgeries, following the arrival of the Mobile Surgical Center No.2-CEMC, which began operating in the district on August 18. This mobile medical facility, a part of a larger project launched in January 2024, has been operational since the beginning of the year, serving numerous districts across the region.

The mobile surgical center, currently stationed in the Aldan District, includes a team of specialized medical professionals, including anesthesiologists-reanimatologists, vascular surgeons, traumatologist-orthopedists, coloproctologists, and otolaryngologists, among others. Over 4,000 patients have already been examined at district hospitals through this mobile service.

Since its inception, the "Mobile Surgical Center" has performed over a thousand surgeries, with 18 surgeries already completed at the Aldan Central District Hospital, and additional examinations and tests being conducted for patients. The surgeries performed at this facility cover a wide range of specialties, including general surgery, traumatology, urology, and gynecology.

The mobile surgical center has made multiple visits to various districts, including Arctic ones such as Verkhoyansky, Bulunsky, and Srednekolymsky, and has operated in Nyurbinsky, Verkhnevilyuisky, Aldansky, Olekminsky, Ust-Alinsky, Megino-Kangalassky, Neryungrinsky, Gorny, Chuprinchinsky, and Ust-Maysky districts. Eight more visits to these and other districts are planned by the end of 2025.

The institution's press service reported this news, emphasizing the importance of the mobile surgical center in bringing essential healthcare services to remote areas. This initiative underscores the commitment to ensuring that all residents, regardless of their location, have access to quality medical care.

As the mobile surgical center continues its journey across the regions, it brings hope and healing to those in need, bridging the gap in healthcare accessibility in some of the most remote areas of Russia.
