Medical professionals in Sverdlovsk offer vital aid to individuals affected by the fire in the village of Gorny Shield

In the early hours of this morning, a devastating house fire broke out in a two-story, wooden structure with a bathhouse on the ground floor in SNT "Zarya-1", Ekaterinburg. Preliminary reports suggest that electrical wiring may have been the cause of the blaze, although the investigation is still ongoing.

The first emergency services were called to the scene at 03:39, and firefighters arrived promptly to extinguish the fire. However, four people, including three children, tragically lost their lives at the scene. A six-year-old child is currently in critical condition with thermal burns covering 60% of their body. A woman is also hospitalized with multiple rib fractures and a suspected spinal fracture.

Two other children were present during the incident but refused hospitalization and have been prescribed outpatient treatment. Psychologists from MCHS are providing support to all those affected by the tragedy.

The destroyed house was recently purchased on July 19, and it is suspected that the electrical wiring was not thoroughly checked during the purchase transaction. Investigators are assessing whether faulty or deteriorated electrical components may have sparked the blaze.

As of now, no definitive conclusion has been publicly released. The local authorities and fire investigation teams are urging the public to follow their official statements for the latest and most detailed updates on the situation.

The victims of the house fire were poisoned by toxic smoke, as confirmed by MVD representatives. Medical professionals are treating the injured, and doctors in Sverdlovsk are providing necessary aid, as reported by the regional health ministry's press service.

This tragic incident comes after a recent success story from Sverdlovsk doctors, who successfully restored the skull of a fighter who sustained severe injuries in the SVO zone.

Colonel Valery Goryachev, the official representative of the Sverdlovsk MVD, stated that more detailed circumstances of the deaths are being investigated. The community of Ekaterinburg is left in shock, as they mourn the loss of their neighbours and friends.

A friend visited the house with children before the incident, and it has been confirmed that no alcohol was consumed during the gathering before the fire. Our thoughts are with all those affected by this tragedy, and we hope for a swift recovery for those injured.
