Korea Ginseng Corporation (KGC) Strengthens Global Position at Growth Asia Summit 2025
The Korea Ginseng Corporation (KGC) has solidified its status as the No. 1 global ginseng brand for an impressive 11 consecutive years. The company showcased its advanced research and development (R&D) capabilities and introduced new products at the recent Growth Asia Summit 2025 held in Singapore from July 15-17.
The Growth Asia Summit 2025, a gathering of over 300 health experts from more than 15 countries, featured prominent global health and nutrition companies like Nestlé and Danone. KGC participated as a speaker, presenting the health benefits of its flagship brand, JungKwanJang, with a focus on aging and blood sugar management.
At the summit, KGC showcased two new products: RXGIN red ginseng oil, designed for men's prostate health, and GLPro, a clinically tested product for improving blood sugar indicators. The company emphasized the health benefits of red ginseng, officially recognized by Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for seven key health benefits, including immunity support and fatigue relief.
The company's R&D efforts are tailored to different life stages, offering a broad product lineup for teens, students, women, and seniors. KGC's presence and activities in the U.S. market, with its headquarters in Cerritos, California, reinforce its international reach and influence. As of early 2025, the firm was managing around 109 employees and generating revenues near $29.6 million.
In addition to its presence at the Growth Asia Summit 2025, KGC had a lounge at a Lim Young-woong concert, further demonstrating its commitment to promoting K-ginseng worldwide.
A study has also found that red ginseng extract may lower blood glucose levels, aligning with KGC's focus on blood sugar management. Meanwhile, a black ginseng product was launched by Konyang University students through a startup course, indicating the growing interest in ginseng research and development.
Overall, these developments illustrate that KGC is actively expanding both product innovation and global market presence, solidifying its leadership in the ginseng sector. The company's participation at the Growth Asia Summit 2025 serves as a testament to its commitment to advancing K-ginseng on the global stage.
