In a bid to tackle the issue of insufficient public toilets in the city centre of Ingolstadt, the Freedom Voters have proposed a pragmatic solution: a cooperation with the Enso Hotel.

Hans Stachel, Chairman of the Freedom Voters city council fraction, has expressed dissatisfaction with what he perceives as symbolic politics regarding public toilets. He believes that the lack of facilities in the parking garage near the Saturn Arena is unacceptable and has called on the city administration to address the issue seriously with concrete solutions.

Stachel has suggested that the Enso Hotel, with its accessibility and seven-day-a-week opening hours, could be an ideal partner in creating a low-threshold offer for public toilets. The Freedom Voters find the proposed alternatives, such as Saturn Arena, VR-Bank, and Klenzepark, unsatisfactory.

The Freedom Voters have held initial talks with the Enso Hotel for a potential cooperation and have also criticized the installation of red staircase tables at the Viktualienmarkt, suggesting that attention should be paid to the real needs of city centre visitors instead.

Stachel emphasizes that a corresponding offer of freely accessible sanitary facilities belongs to an attractive city centre. The Freedom Voters demand more and longer opening hours for public toilets in the city centre, with a simple first step being to extend the opening hours of the toilets in the Old Town Hall until 10 p.m. on all days.

However, it appears that no public or news documentation about such a proposal is currently available or indexed in search results. To find more details about this specific proposal, checking official Ingolstadt city council announcements, the Freedom Voters party communications, or local news sources directly might be necessary.

Science plays a crucial role in addressing the issue of workplace wellness and health and wellness, including mental health. In this context, Hans Stachel, Chairman of the Freedom Voters, is demonstrating this by proposing a collaboration with the Enso Hotel to offer accessible public toilets in the city centre of Ingolstadt, aiming to improve the overall well-being of city centre visitors.
