Foundation Boosts Nursing Allowance for All Employees: Paul-Riebeck's Generous Increase
Paul-Riebeck Foundation Doubles Care Bonus for Employees
The Paul-Riebeck Foundation has announced an additional care bonus for its employees in elderly and disability care, amounting to 500 euros per employee. This bonus comes on top of the state care bonus of 1,000 euros per employee that was also awarded in 2022.
The Bundestag and Bundesrat had previously decided to grant an additional bonus to employees in elderly care for 2022, but unfortunately, employees in disability care were overlooked by the legislature. However, the Paul-Riebeck Foundation, unlike some other institutions, is not dependent on government funding for the care bonus. The foundation is contributing an additional 250,000 euros from its own funds for this purpose.
The care bonus provided by the Paul-Riebeck Foundation is not taxed, making it a significant financial recognition for the employees. The total amount received by employees of the foundation in these care sectors is 1,500 euros, combining both the state and the foundation's bonuses. This indicates that the foundation’s care bonus is a significant supplement, amounting to half of the state’s care bonus, thereby recognizing and enhancing the financial acknowledgment of their employees’ work.
Katharina Brederlow, deputy mayor for education and social affairs of the city of Halle (Saale) and chairperson of the foundation's board, thanks the entire staff for their efforts. The Paul-Riebeck Foundation's board expresses great appreciation for the commitment of the employees during the pandemic, acknowledging the sacrifices made by employees in terms of personal time, leisure, and family. The board believes that professional ethics in elderly care and disability care can be seen in the services provided by the foundation.
This news serves as a reminder of the crucial role played by care workers and the importance of recognising their contributions. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the Paul-Riebeck Foundation has demonstrated its commitment to its employees and the services they provide.
- The Paul-Riebeck Foundation has demonstrated its dedication to workplace-wellness, especially in the care sectors, by providing an additional €500 care bonus for its employees, equating to half of the state's care bonus of €1,000, thus recognizing their hard work and sacrifices.
- The enlightened approach of the Paul-Riebeck Foundation in science and health-and-wellness can be seen in their commitment to the well-being of their employees, by offering an employment package that includes a care bonus not subjected to tax, signifying their appreciation for the crucial role employees play in elderly and disability care.
