Federal law enforcement officers detained a sex offender wanted on federal charges at Frankfurt Airport.

A 50-year-old Paraguayan national was arrested at Frankfurt am Main Airport by the Federal Police on September 4, 2025. The arrest warrant for the individual was issued by the Bonn Regional Court.

The suspect is primarily suspected of sexual assaults on dependent persons and children in 25 cases between 2008 and 2019. According to the accusations, the suspect allegedly abused his own daughter and the daughter of his brother.

The arrest took place upon the individual's arrival from São Paulo. Federal Police officers seized USB sticks, a laptop, a smartphone, and a DVD during a search. These seized items are now being evaluated.
