Cluj-Napoca is mulling over a new rule that could see smokers booted from public transport stations, parks, and sports facilities. This proposal has been put out for public comment, with the Cluj-Napoca City Council set to make a decision soon.

Break the rules, and you'll face fines between RON 100 and RON 500. Emil Boc, the man behind the plan, says it's all about responsibility. "Smoking harms hearts, lungs, lives - not just those of smokers, but also non-smokers due to passive smoking," he explained.
