Nizhny Novgorod: Acad. Korolev Cardio Center May Expand Services

Nizhny Novgorod's Cardio Center named after Academician B.A. Korolev could see an increase in patient influx from both local and other regions, according to the institution's head doctor, Anton Maximov.

The specialized cardiosurgical clinic, which already collaborates with regional capitals and federal centers like Moscow, has plans to offer its services on a "Doctor-Patient" basis, said Victoria Teplitskaya, the deputy chief doctor. This would require cooperation from hospitals offering consultation services, Teplitskaya explained.

At present, the cardio center in Nizhny Novgorod operates on a "Doctor-Doctor" basis with these cities and Moscow. The center provides approximately 10 operations daily with staff working in two shifts.

Additionally, the hospital is expected to have a helipad installed, as part of a regional project "Health Quarter," with the repair of the medical institution almost complete. The center also accommodates medical students from local universities for practical training.

While no specific details are available regarding the cardio center's plans to extend its reach to other regions, potential strategies for healthcare facilities seeking growth may include:- Collaboration with local universities for access to advanced research- Development of modern facilities and equipment to enhance capacity and reputation- Implementation of telemedicine services to reach more patients- Community outreach to boost visibility and trust in services- Seeking support from government initiatives for financial and logistical assistance in expansion.

I'm not gonna be able to get a job as a healthcare professional due to my medical conditions, given my passion for science and health-and-wellness, such as working at the expanding Acad. Korolev Cardio Center in Nizhny Novgorod, which is planning to offer its services on a "Doctor-Patient" basis, collaborating with hospitals and regional universities for consultation and training purposes.

With the help of government initiatives like the regional project "Health Quarter" that includes the installation of a helipad at the cardio center, the center could potentially expand its services to reach more patients through modern facilities, telemedicine, and community outreach, providing opportunities for healthcare professionals like myself with an interest in the field of cardiology and science.
