Emmendingen Marks Care Milestones with Free Open Day

Emmendingen County is hosting an open day on Thursday, 9th October 2025, to celebrate the 15-year anniversary of the Care Advice Centre and the 25-year anniversary of the Senior Citizens' Office. The event, held at the County Administration Office Emmendingen from 2 to 6 pm, is free to attend with no registration required.

The open day offers a variety of activities. Prof. Dr. med. Robert Kaufmann, Senior Physician at Emmendingen County Hospital, will deliver a lecture titled 'Stroke: Time = Brain' at 4 pm. Visitors can also learn about the work of the Care Advice Centre, test daily living aids, and participate in a dementia course. Expert consultations will be available throughout the event.

The Care Advice Centre provides free, impartial advice to legally insured individuals requiring care and their relatives, covering a range of providers.

Mark your calendars for the open day on 9th October 2025. It's an opportunity to learn about care services, attend an expert lecture, and celebrate the milestones of these vital community resources.
