In the Rhein-Kreis Neuss district of Germany, the number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus continues to be a concern. As of the latest report, there are 55 active cases in the area.

The health department has set up a hotline for residents with important questions. The number is 02181/601-7777 and is available from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, and on weekends, 9 am to 6 pm. For the most up-to-date information, residents are encouraged to visit the district's homepage at www.rhein-kreis-neuss.de/corona.

In the past seven days, the value of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants stands at 5.3. This is a significant decrease from the May 14 value of 7.8. However, if the value were to reach 50, measures to contain the virus would be necessary.

Recently, a significant outbreak occurred at a parcel center in Hückelhoven, Heinsberg district. Three employees of this center have tested positive for Coronavirus, according to the latest reports. It is important to note that these individuals remain unidentified in the available information. However, back in May 2020, at least 80 employees at the same parcel center were infected with COVID-19.

Fortunately, no infection was found in 15 people who are employed at the same parcel center and reside in the Rhein-Kreis Neuss area after tests.

The number of deaths due to the consequences of the disease remains unchanged at 18. The infected individuals are spread across various locations in the district, with one each in Korschenbroich and Rommerskirchen, 15 in Dormagen, 15 in Neuss, 8 in Grevenbroich, 6 in Meerbusch, 5 in Jüchen, and 4 in Kaarst.

The district continues to monitor the situation closely and urges residents to follow safety guidelines to help prevent the spread of the virus.
