Anandamayi Bajaj, the fifth-generation scion of the Bajaj Group, has recently joined the family business as General Manager (Strategy). She graduated in June 2025 from Columbia University with a bachelor's degree in financial economics and mathematics.

Born to Kushagra Nayan Bajaj, the Promoter and Chairman of the Bajaj Group, Anandamayi will work closely with the leadership teams of Bajaj Energy, Bajaj Consumer, and Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar. Her role involves collaborating with these teams to understand the intricacies of the group's diverse businesses, such as sugar, ethanol, power, and personal care.

Anandamayi's entry marks a historic milestone for the Bajaj Group, as she is the first woman successor in the lineage. Her strategic managerial role and background in financial economics and mathematics position her to contribute significantly to the group's future growth, innovation, and social value creation.

Mr. Kushagra Nayan Bajaj shared a heartfelt message about Anandamayi's joining, expressing his pride and optimism for the new beginning. The Bajaj Group, currently valued over $5 billion and employing more than 12,000 people, was originally founded by Jamnalal Bajaj in the 1930s and was split from the original larger Bajaj family businesses in 2008.

Anandamayi will begin her full-time role from the Group's Mumbai office. She will undergo a detailed cross-functional immersion across all business verticals to gain a comprehensive understanding of the group's operations. The Bajaj Group, a diversified conglomerate with major interests in Sugar, Ethanol, Power, and FMCG businesses, celebrates this new beginning with pride and optimism.

Anandamayi shared her views on joining the Bajaj Group, expressing her excitement to learn from the outstanding teams across the group's businesses and her ambition to take on greater operational responsibilities by the end of 2025. Her passion for animal care and women empowerment may extend beyond pure business strategy to include social initiatives associated with the group.

In summary, Anandamayi Bajaj's background as a Columbia University graduate in financial economics and mathematics, combined with her strategic managerial role and historic position as the first female 5th-generation heir, promises a promising future for the Bajaj Group.
