Arunachal Pradesh Inaugurates First State-of-the-Art Pink Toilet for Women

Arunachal Pradesh has inaugurated its first state-of-the-art pink toilet at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Basar, on Gandhi Jayanti. The initiative, a collaborative effort, has been widely appreciated for strengthening sanitation infrastructure in the district.

The project for the construction of this modern pink toilet building was initiated by the Arunachal Pradesh State Government. It is designed exclusively for female students and staff, serving as a symbol of respect and civic responsibility. MLA Nyabi Jini Dirchi inaugurated the facility in the presence of senior officials and local BJP leaders. Dirchi highlighted the project's significance in aligning with Mahatma Gandhi's vision of cleanliness and ensuring a safe environment for women.

Local leaders and community members commended the collaborative effort behind the project. Officials expressed hope that similar facilities would be replicated across schools and institutions in the state.
